The Saw series started out with a lot of promise. Perhaps his grief pushed him back towards John Kramer’s teachings. Logan shows off the decomposed bodies on the floor in order to illustrate his point.

They have taken what could have been a good franchise and made it into little more than a gore fest and the attempts at writing a "plot" have been a complete failure. There’s no indication, to start with, that these are different people. Upon joining Team Jigsaw, she helped set up the bathroom game from Saw.
John mentioned at this point that the games he creates are intended to ‘speak for the dead’, punishing and testing people that committed crimes and got people killed.
Since we have three people carrying out Jigsaw's last wishes, the door is open for more sequels even if Hoffman dies, and Gordon has apparently been working with Jigsaw all along. Lionsgate set out to make an intelligent movie that broke from the mold of slasher films, and for the most part they were successful. Originating a cruel trick that he would later revisit in the first Saw’s iconic bathroom trap, John hid the keys to the contestants’ ankle chains within the final stage of the farmhouse games. The 'dead' body gets up off the floor and peels a prosthetic scar from his head.
While working as some sort of medical expert for the police department, Logan noticed that Callum Keith Rennie’s Detective Halloran (pictured above) was a right piece of work. She also blew her own face off. But the faux survivor's wife was not in on the plot, so why did she have to die? Why do some of the people who actually manage to survive. Did he work on anything else besides the Reverse Bear-Trap?

The new "reveal" (again retroactively rewriting the previous movies) is that Dr. Gordon (Cary Elwes from The Princess Bride) has been in on the scheme the entire time, since Saw II.
Jigsaw threatened to murder Gordon's wife and daughter.
And so did Logan, from a nearby rooftop. First up was a chap in a bucket-head, whose face had been totally destroyed by the same circular saws that nearly killed Logan all those years ago. We see the first bucket-head (actually Logan) get walloped by the saws, and then we see the second bucket-head (some other dude) hanging from a tree.

Logan has a little look around, taking a moment to admire the Reverse Bear-Trap and Eleanor’s replica of the motorbike-assisted human blender.
Logan starts trying to convince everyone that Halloran is the Jigsaw copycat.
Eventually, Eleanor – having found a rare pig disease in one of the DNA samples from the bodies – works out where the games are being played. The wife and child run to the neighbours.

Adam then grabs the toliet tank lid and bashes Zep to death. The film constantly tries to throw us off the scent: we see John Kramer alive and well in a farmhouse, and it still hasn’t been made clear that these are flashbacks to 10+ years ago. In hindsight, though, when John removes his hood and no one in the scene mentions that he’s meant to be dead, that’s a pretty big clue. Spoilers!

Adam, angry at Jigsaw for his ordeal, grabs the gun and goes to shoot him but Jigsaw uses a remote to shock Adam again, making him drop the gun. Regardless, the easiest way to explain Jigsaw’s twists and turns is to spell them all out in chronological order.
The clock comes up to 6.00. Funnily enough, John never mentioned Logan in Saw, Saw II, Saw III, Saw IV, Saw V, Saw VI or Saw 3D: The Final Chapter. The trap is behind a glass wall, in the middle of a very crowded shopping area. You can’t have an autopsy on screen and then come back, not without sacrificing every ounce of realism in your franchise. At some point in amongst all of this, the audience gets a big clue about Logan: we see him getting out of bed and revealing his bare back, which is covered in scars. John Kramer is dead, because of course he is. Then Halloran’s game begins. Hoffman kidnaps him and places him, his publicist, his lawyer, his best friend and wife in a series of traps, because he was lying about the experience. The idea of this trap is simple: if you confess your crimes, you go free. Logan can be the new big bad, and he can use his audio editing skills to give Tobin Bell some more voice cameos in later instalments. Plus, once the trap is completed, it is never mentioned again, making the entire scene a completely pointless waste of time. I am sure that is not the reaction Lionsgate wanted for the biggest horror franchise of the last decade. There has been no official talk of a Jigsaw 2 just yet, but if this film makes a lot of money, don’t be surprised if an announcement arrives. In any case, he punks the entire police department, slaughtering others with traps he has set up (because Hoffman is supposed to be a good guy who only goes after criminals and degenerates) before finally getting to Jigsaw's wife and killing her. He also plays mind games on people, which is shown in a flashback in Saw III in which he convinced Amanda to side with him. Addresses are not passed on to any third party, and are used solely for direct communication from this site. When Alison gets the gun from Zep and aims it at him, the gun is in her left hand. The men decide that their girlfriend would be the one to die for manipulating and lying to them - which is now a capital offense apparently. Gordon and two others (we never see who they are) kidnap and drug Hoffman (who is still no-selling getting stabbed in the neck with a letter opener) and leave him in the bathroom from the first movie.
Logan’s bogus story is that Halloran must have shot Edgar to stop him from talking, to protect his secret identity as the new Jigsaw. The police shot at him. Trivia: According to director James Wan on the director's cut DVD commentary, the major plot twist of the film, from Adam listening to Zep's tape to Jigsaw standing up, was one continuous shot, and was also the only shot they did of the sequence. Cary Elwes’ Doctor Gordon wound up being useful, as well, helping Jiggy with his surgical needs after chopping off his own foot in the Saw bathroom.

It makes perfect sense. Logan put Edgar into a game, which culminated with him on a roof, in a standoff with the police, holding a trigger. However, after the doors slammed shut, John rushed into the first room and rescued Logan.
It started with Josiah Black’s Edgar Munsen, a police informant that Halloran was very familiar with. I won't go into much detail here. The first trap these people had to face was the ‘bucket-head’ challenge. Never mind that Gordon was assumed dead after the first movie after cutting off his own foot, and never mind that he has never once appeared in any of the previous 5 movies. This item would ultimately be used on Amanda (Shawnee Smith) in the original Saw film, and on various people afterwards.

Tapp ends up chasing Zep. The writers of this movie actually think they are being intelligent, by orchestrating this large-scale conspiracy involving what now can only be described as a Jigsaw cult. In the next shot it's in her right hand, and then it moves back to her left hand again. But then, Logan hatched a plan….
